Creamy kale salad
with
Mettwurst sausage

  1. Dice the onion. Cut the Mettwurst sausage in half lengthwise, then dice. Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the butter and sauté the onion for a few minutes. Add the diced sausage and fry until crispy.
  2. Wash and half of the kale. Remove the core and cut the rest into strips. Wash the pears, remove the cores and cut them into small pieces.
  3. Add the kale, pear pieces, EKABE whipping cream and stock to the onion and sausage mixture in the saucepan. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve in a bowl with a slice of bread or steamed potatoes.
