  1. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onions, salt and pepper, and sauté for 5 minutes until they start to soften.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and continue stirring regularly until the onions are well caramelized – this may take up to 60 minutes. Add a splash of water if the pan becomes too dry. Once caramelized, let cool and set aside.
  3. Mix the EKABE thick cream with the mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, chives, and an extra pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Stir the caramelized onions into the dip. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
