Recipe

Quark base:

  1. Mix the fat-free quark with the salt, pepper and grated nutmeg in a salad bowl. Add the egg, milk and oil and mix well. Add the flour and mix again.

Kochkäse filling:

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°C (fan-assisted oven).
  2. Peel and finely chop ½ onion. Cut the ½ Viennese sausage into thin slices.
  3. Line a baking tray with baking paper and roll out the “Tarte flambée” dough. Spread the quark base evenly over the dough. Top with the sliced onion, sausage slices and bacon bits. Finish with the herb Kochkäse, spread over the entire surface of the tart. Bake in the oven for 6 to 7 minutes.
