Recipe

  1. Place the tub of EKABE garlic Kochkäse in a bowl of hot (not boiling) water to make it easier to pour.
  2. Dice the avocado and combine it with lime juice and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
  3. Heat the oil into a large frying pan and sauté the diced onion until translucent.
  4. Add the minced meat, cumin, oregano, onion granules, salt and chili flakes. Break up the meat as it cooks, until browned. Add tomato paste and water, stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Spread the tortilla chips on a large serving dish and top with the cooled meat.
  6. Generously drizzle the Kochkäse over the chips, then add the salsa, avocado, sliced onion and any other toppings you like!

Tip:

For a vegetarian version, replace the meat with black beans and follow step 4.
