- Place the tub of EKABE garlic Kochkäse in a bowl of hot (not boiling) water to make it easier to pour.
- Dice the avocado and combine it with lime juice and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
- Heat the oil into a large frying pan and sauté the diced onion until translucent.
- Add the minced meat, cumin, oregano, onion granules, salt and chili flakes. Break up the meat as it cooks, until browned. Add tomato paste and water, stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread the tortilla chips on a large serving dish and top with the cooled meat.
- Generously drizzle the Kochkäse over the chips, then add the salsa, avocado, sliced onion and any other toppings you like!
Tip:
For a vegetarian version, replace the meat with black beans and follow step 4.
